Ingrid and Roger Hamlet joined BMS World Mission earlier this year as specialists in orthotics and prosthetics, respectively. Having completed their missions and French language training just outside Paris, they will be relocating to serve at Guinebor II Hospital in N’Djamena, Chad, where they will set up a Prosthetics and Orthotics Department in early 2025
SUNDAY 29
The beginning of 2025 marks the beginning of a new journey in the missional life of Roger, who spent his early years in Nepal, the child of missionaries. Give thanks for the heart for global mission laid at the centre of Roger’s life.
MONDAY 30
Pray for that same sense of following where God has been leading her that is evident in Ingrid’s call. From meeting on their first day at university, Ingrid had a confidence that one day they would be called to serve as a couple.
TUESDAY 31
As much as New Year’s Eve is a chance to look forward, it also sees us glancing back. As the Hamlets head to Chad, lift up in prayer the loved ones they leave behind.
WEDNESDAY 1
Ingrid and Roger will be moving to N’Djamena with their two boys, Mark and Joel. Please pray that the transition to a new way of life will be smooth.
THURSDAY 2
Please pray for all the logistics, funding and space required to set up the Prosthetics and Orthotics Department at Guinebor II.
FRIDAY 3
After nine months French language training, pray that God will give the Hamlets the fluency they need to build strong and lasting relationships with the community where they are serving.
SATURDAY 4
Please pray for the work of other mission workers at Guinebor II: Lucia Bastos, Claire Bedford and Kalbassou Doubassou.
