Creative – Be thankful for Jesus as you eat your meals today.

- What was on the disciples’ minds?
- How do people with power usually act? (v25)
- But how should Jesus’ followers act?

Orbit Week 32 – Thursday evening
Orbit 32.3 – Tough Times Cockerels, sandals, purses and swords – what is Jesus talking about?
Read Luke 22:31-38
- Jesus knew Peter would fail and prays that when he comes back he would help the others! Peter claims he is strong to stay faithful. What must Peter have been thinking?
- What was Jesus’ strange instruction to the disciples?
- What was wrong with the ‘we have two swords!’ comment? Is it about timing? Or?
Prayer – Thank God that when we fail, Jesus always welcomes you back…
Creative – How long can you be strong for? Hold a bottle of water at arm’s length? Could it be heavier? Could you hold it for longer. Thank God for your strength, ask Him to make you stronger and know when you fail, he will pick you up!
