Day 1: Divine Fairness and Our Blessings

Bible Reading: Micah 6:1-5
Reflect on the historical deliverance of Israel from Egypt. These verses recount the acts of God on behalf of His people, leading them out of slavery into freedom. Consider the scale of justice and how God’s mercy has played a part in history and in your own life.

Devotional:
Consider the fairness of God as demonstrated through His past faithfulness. Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life’s demands, questioning if God’s expectations are too high? Reflect on the Israelites’ journey from slavery to the Promised Land and recognize God’s unwavering presence in times of trial. Ponder on the scale of divine justice and where you see God’s hand tipping the scale in favor of mercy in your life.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to see Your hand at work in my life as You did for the Israelites. May I never forget Your past faithfulness and continue to trust in Your fair and just nature. Amen.

Day 2: Called to Act Justly

Bible Reading: Micah 6:6-8
Focus on the Lord’s requirements for His people: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him. Reflect on what it means to act justly in your own life and in society.

Devotional:
The Sermon on justice, mercy, and humility challenges us to live out these virtues actively. Consider what acting justly means in your context. Is it fair treatment of others, speaking up against injustice, or perhaps being honest in your dealings? Let the scripture guide you in understanding how to respond to God’s love with justice.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, guide me to act justly in all circumstances, showing Your love and mercy to others as I walk humbly with You. Amen.

Day 3: Living Out Mercy

Bible Reading: Matthew 5:7; Luke 6:36
Jesus calls us to be merciful and compassionate. As you read these verses, meditate on how you can embody Christ’s teachings on mercy in your daily interactions.

Devotional:
The Sermon reflects on the importance of showing mercy as a response to God’s immense love. Consider the ways you can extend mercy to those around you, perhaps by forgiving someone who has wronged you or by helping those in need without expecting anything in return.

Prayer:
Dear Jesus, let me be a vessel of Your mercy, extending forgiveness and help to those around me just as You have shown me infinite mercy. Amen.

Day 4: Walking Humbly with God

Bible Reading: Micah 6:8; Proverbs 11:2
Contemplate the connection between humility and wisdom. As you walk with God, consider how humility shapes your relationship with Him and others.

Devotional:
The Sermon reminds us of the call to walk humbly with God. In a world that often values pride and self-promotion, reflect on how walking humbly might look in your life. It could mean acknowledging your dependence on God or serving others without seeking recognition.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to walk humbly with You, recognizing my need for Your guidance in every step of my life. May my actions reflect Your humility and grace. Amen.

Day 5: Redemption and Love in a Broken World

Bible Reading: 1 John 4:9-11
John speaks of God’s love made manifest through Jesus and our call to love one another. As you read, think about the ultimate sacrifice of love and how you can live out this love in a world that is in need of redemption.

Devotional:
Reflect on the redemptive power of love as mentioned in the Sermon. In a broken world, love is the force that can heal and bring wholeness. How can you be an agent of God’s love to those who are hurting or lost? Consider ways you can demonstrate sacrificial love in your own community.

Prayer:
God of love, thank You for Your sacrifice which brought me redemption. Empower me to love others sacrificially, being a light of hope and a source of healing in a broken world. Amen.
