YOUTH

Sundays at Cosham Baptist

On a typical Sunday morning, young people will leave the main service at about 10:50am along with the children. Please ask your young person to follow the crowd through the church door into the foyer and then go up the stairs, across the bridge and into the Youth Pod.

Please sign your young person in on one of the screens at the Welcome Centre. If there is anything you feel we should know in order to look after your young person, please come with them and speak to a member of the team or contact us in advance.

YOUTH

Midweek youth activities

The Mix Youth Club featuring Headstrong Cafe (Year 6 up)
Thursdays 6:30-9:00pm // £2 for 3 tokens, £5 for 10 tokens (see below)

Food and drink will be available from the Headstrong Cafe - a space to be yourself, catch up with friends, to chat, drink and eat! Tokens buy Milkshakes, Hot Chocolate, Toasted Sandwich, Panini and more.

Other zones include Sports, Play, Eco, Big Question and Create - each one will enable every young person to find a good place to hang out, create, think, or be active!

We need basic details of the young person and their parent/carer before their adult leaves. Young people should be collected at 9pm, unless you have let a leader know that they can leave at a different time or on their own.

YOUTH

Other youth events & activities

Youth events (age 10+)

At least once a month we will hold a Youth Event - fire pits, challenges, games and pizza making, Blackout lock-in and others further afield at different activity places. These will usually be on at some stage on a Saturday depending on the event. A chance for all ages from age 10 and up to gather and have fun!

High Tide (School years 7-13, although we will take Year 6s who are connected with CBC Youth or The Mix)
Monthly on Friday evenings

High Tide is a monthly youth event organised by Churches Together. We meet at Cosham Baptist and travel to that month's host church (somewhere in Portsmouth). The evening begins at 7pm with games and food - for example pool, table tennis, dance-off, jenga and then hot dogs, burgers, pizza.

This is followed by some sung worship, a short talk, opportunity to respond and a song - then a bit of time to chat before finishing at 9pm.

Satellites Festival (School years 7-13)
6-10 August 2025 in Shepton Mallet

Satellites Festival is a fantastic 5 day event! Join in with thousands of other young people for fun, inspiration, challenge and encouragement. It’s a five-day gathering, designed to inspire teenagers to live with God at the centre of their lives for the other 360 days of the year.
