CHILDREN
Sundays at Cosham Baptist
On a typical Sunday morning, children will leave the main service about 10:50am. Please follow the crowd through the church door into the foyer and someone will direct you to the room appropriate for the age of your child. Please sign your child in on one of the screens at the welcome desk.
Once you arrive at the room you will be welcomed by one of the staff. If new to the Church please give your child’s name to the staff member and also your name, mobile phone number and where you are sitting in church. This will allow the staff to contact you during the service if needs be. Please also tell the staff member anything they need to know in order to look after your child safely eg allergies, behavioural issues etc. At the end of the service please go back to the same room to collect your child.
- Creche (Under 3s)
Creche is run on a three children to one staff member ratio. You are welcome to stay or leave as you feel best. Your child will enjoy playing with toys in a safe environment allowing you to worship with the rest of the church family. You will given a ‘buzzer’ that will activate if you are required back in creche.
- Mini-Kids (3-4s)
For those children not yet at school we have a group that follows a simple pattern of story and creative play, with a snack. - Sunday Kids (Year R-6)
Each sunday we are delighted to have the opportunity to meet together for fun, worship, Bible story, discussion and creative response. We meet all together in The Link up for the first part of the session then split into Big Kids and Little Kids for the discussion and response.

Midweek children's groups at Cosham Baptist
- Friday Kids (Reception - Year 6) 5:00-6:30pm // Weekly fee £1
Lights, great games, action songs, story, discussion and creativity - plus drinks and prizes and more all in 90 minutes on a Friday afternoon! We have been running a Friday Club for many years - some of our early members and leaders are now returning with their own children! Friday Club is now run so that everyone is encouraged to play the games, to move to the music and to take part! We aim to have themes each week that are relevant for the children and give them a chance to think and reflect.

CHILDREN
Summer Camp
Each year we take the older children (School Years 3-6) to Yapton, near Arundel, for a fantastic week in a massive exclusive use site. We enjoy 5 days of activity, excitement and engagement. It is a place where memories are created and new friendships are made and deepened!
Late night walks, wide games, dressing up, open-air swimming, climbing, early mornings, minibus songs, camp grub, outside showers, hot tents, films, stories, creativity, prayer, worship and more.
Dates for the 2023 Summer Camp are 24th-28th July - book your place here.
Events
We aim to have regular fun and inspiring events for children. For example pizza making, sleepovers, trips out to Flip Out or Rock Up etc. All children are welcome to these events. We also regularly host events for children and their families. Recent events have included Pancake Day Party, Donut Party and a Hot Dog Party! These often take place on Tuesday afternoons. Keep an eye on the events calendar for details of upcoming events.
Holiday Club
Each year we run a Holiday Club during the mornings of one of the Half Terms - a week of fun, activity, new friendships, discovery and growth!
Details of the next Holiday Club will be posted here and on the events calendar once confirmed.
