Strong faith emerges from persecution in Afghanistan – helped by you
“In the difficult Taliban regime, we face challenges, but with strong faith, we persevere,” says Khada*. Her husband, Ehsan*, was tragically killed for his faith, but with your help, she and other secret Afghan believers continue to bravely follow Jesus.
Khada has been able to set up her own business, meaning she can trade with neighbours and friends, and provide for her children. It’s one of the many ways Open Doors supports partners both inside and outside of Afghanistan through various initiatives, including Bible translation, vocational training, radio broadcasts and support for widows and orphans.
“Brothers and sisters who have more to share help each other,” says Khada. “This is the strong faith that Jesus gave us, so that we can support each other and remove hardships among our brothers and sisters.”
