SUNDAY 14
Roger Pearce is the Head of Programmes for Capacity Strengthening and Crosscutting themes (including Gender Justice and Creation Stewardship). Please pray for vision and wisdom for him as he co-ordinates his dispersed team across three different time zones.

MONDAY 15
Alan and Megan Barker are BMS Capacity Strengthening Co-ordinators, in addition to their partner-facing roles with BMS partner HDCS. They are based in Nepal. Please pray for the Barkers as they develop trusting relationships with partners in Nepal and across the wider region.

TUESDAY 16
The work alongside our global partners is cross-cultural in the extreme. Please pray for wisdom and cultural intelligence for the Capacity team as they seek to communicate in culturally appropriate ways.

WEDNESDAY 17
Capacity strengthening requires partners to own their organisational development. Pray that partners would value and actively engage with this process.

THURSDAY 18
BMS uses coaching techniques, where the partner generates their own solutions to context-specific challenges. Pray for the team as they coach partners towards achieving their goals.

FRIDAY 19
Organisations are complex because they contain people! Pray that the Capacity team will have insight into how best to help partners move forward in the effectiveness and impact of their work.

SATURDAY 20
If the team can build greater capacity among partners, then no matter what the challenge, partners will fashion their own solution. Pray that the team can work in such a way that partners will say, “Look at what we’ve done!”
