Safeguarding is important
We take the safety of all children, young people and workers very seriously. Our safeguarding policy includes the following headings.
- Preventing and reporting of abuse
- Safe Recruitment
- Respecting children and young people
- Safe working practices
- Safe Community
All leaders and volunteers are required to follow the policy and the code of behaviours contained therein. We are pleased to have a team of over 70 volunteers helping within the Children, Youth & Family ministries and regular training is undertaken to ensure we are fully aware of ongoing best practice.
At the bottom of this page are links to the Safe to Grow Policy and the Statement that summarises our commitment as a Church and is agreed annually by all Church Members.
Also contained below are the current Health and Safety forms that we ask all parents to complete.
All clubs and activities can of course be paid for in cash, but if you would like to pay in other forms, we welcome that too.
If paying by cheque can you make it payable to ‘Cosham Baptist CYF’ and write the name of the child and event on the reverse, thanks
If paying by BACS our bank details are Lloyds 30-96-11 A/C no. 00690073 – please include in reference, the event and name of child (abbeviate as necessary!), thanks
If money is an issue for you at the moment, please do talk to us. We regularly allow children to come to groups or events and holidays without paying the full price – but we need to know to be able to do this. Of course, anything you tell me, regarding finances, will be kept in confidence.
You are important
We would love to hear from you, especially if you have any comments about the groups your child(ren) attend. We are always looking to improve but also appreciate being told when things have gone well!
